Dr Alessandra Balducci is a specialist in plastic and reconstructive surgery and in aesthetic medicine. She graduated in medicine and surgery from Sapienza University of Rome in 1996 with 110/110 cum laude, and obtained her specialisation in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Tor Vergata University of Rome in 2004 with full marks. Both qualifications were recognised in Switzerland in 2016.

Her Italian career spans nearly twenty years of demanding reconstructive surgery: breast reconstruction and microsurgery at the Regina Elena Cancer Institute, plastic and reconstructive surgery at San Camillo Hospital in Rome, and paediatric surgery at Bambino Gesù Hospital, Europe's largest paediatric centre, where she treated cleft lip and palate, craniofacial malformations and ear reconstruction, and completed a master's degree in paediatric plastic surgery. She ran a private plastic and aesthetic surgery practice in Rome from 2007 to 2013.

Based in Switzerland since 2017, she completed a two-year master's specialisation in aesthetic medicine at the University of Camerino (2020-2021), followed by ongoing advanced training in injection techniques: full-face and lip filling, mandibular angle, cadaveric anatomical dissection, microbotox, microneedling and hyaluronidase.

At the ono estetika clinic in Geneva, her practice now focuses on non-surgical aesthetic medicine. That initial surgical training shapes the way she works: an anatomical reading of the face, layer by layer, and measured corrections that preserve expressive mobility. She consults in French and Italian.
