The treatment

What is
Baby Glow?

Baby Glow is an injectable treatment that works on the skin itself rather than on a wrinkle or a volume. The technique uses very superficial micro-injections placed just beneath the surface and spread across the whole face.

What sets it apart from a cosmetic facial is its depth of action. A cream acts on the superficial layers; here the product is placed directly where the cells work, which explains a more marked and longer-lasting effect.

The treatment comes in two protocols, because skin at 25 and skin at 45 do not have the same needs.

Baby Glow Beautification, from 20 to 35, is for skin with no established wrinkles but which lacks radiance, has enlarged pores or an uneven texture. The cocktail targets hydration, luminosity and pore refinement. Two sessions three to four weeks apart.

Baby Glow Rejuvenation, from 36 to 55, is for skin that has begun to change: less collagen, thinning tissue, reduced suppleness, fine lines at rest and an uneven complexion. The cocktail is enriched with actives that stimulate collagen-producing cells. Three sessions three to four weeks apart, as regeneration requires repeated stimulation.

In both cases, the exact composition is decided by the physician after examining your skin, and maintenance is recommended two to three times a year.

A useful note on limits. This treatment improves skin quality, radiance and density. It does not fill a deep wrinkle, does not lift a slackened jawline, and treats neither active acne, pitted scars nor established pigment marks. It replaces neither botulinum toxin nor hyaluronic acid, but combines very well with both. If your main concern falls into one of those categories, the physician will direct you to the appropriate treatment.

Why choose this treatment

  • Two distinct protocols according to age and skin condition
  • Works on radiance, texture and density, not on wrinkles
  • Visibly refines enlarged pores (Beautification protocol)
  • Deeper and longer-lasting than a surface cosmetic treatment
  • Combines with botulinum toxin, hyaluronic acid or a gentle peel

How it works

The treatment
process.

01
Before

Initial consultation, precautions, and skin preparation

To prevent bruising, avoid consuming alcohol, aspirin, or anti-inflammatory drugs during the 48 hours prior to the treatment. During the initial medical consultation, disclose any pregnancy, breastfeeding, autoimmune disease, allergies, or history of recurrent herpes. Arrive without makeup or plan to remove it on-site. The session will be rescheduled in the event of active inflammatory acne, a skin infection, or a herpes outbreak. Avoid scrubs and intense sun exposure in the days leading up to the treatment.

02
During

Performance of micro-injections and epidermal stimulation

After the skin has been thoroughly cleansed and disinfected, the doctor performs numerous superficial micro-injections evenly distributed across the entire face and, if necessary, the neck and décolletage. A mechanical injector is sometimes used to ensure consistent depth and spacing. You will feel brief pricks and a fleeting tingling sensation. The appearance of erythema (redness) during the session is an expected and temporary physiological reaction.

03
After

Immediate aftermath, post-procedure instructions, and follow-up

Mild redness, slight bumps, and skin sensitivity may persist for a few hours to overnight. Do not apply makeup for twelve hours and avoid rubbing the treated area. Refrain from strenuous exercise, saunas, steam rooms, and sun exposure for 48 hours, and apply sun protection in the days that follow. To optimize results regarding skin radiance, a second session is scheduled three to four weeks later.

Frequently asked questions

What you'd like
to know before your session.

What is the difference between Beautification and Rejuvenation?+
The technique is identical; the aim changes. Beautification targets the radiance and texture of young skin, in two sessions. Rejuvenation additionally targets regeneration, density, suppleness, collagen and requires three sessions.
Which one is right for me?+
Age gives an indication, but the condition of your skin decides. The physician determines this at the consultation: some 34-year-old skin calls for the Rejuvenation protocol, and the reverse also occurs.
Is it worthwhile if I have no wrinkles?+
Yes, if your skin lacks radiance, shines or has enlarged pores. That is exactly what the Beautification protocol is for. It does not, however, treat established wrinkles.
How does it differ from a salon facial?+
Depth. A cream acts on the superficial layers; here the product is placed in the dermis, where the cells work. The effect is more marked and lasts longer.
Does it treat acne or pigment marks?+
No. It improves radiance and texture, but treats neither active acne, pitted scars nor an established pigment mark. A flare-up is in fact a temporary contraindication.
How long before an event?+
At least a week, ideally two. Redness settles within hours, but the glow takes three to five days to appear.
Is it painful?+
The injections are numerous but very superficial and brief. Most patients describe tingling. An anaesthetic cream can be applied beforehand.
What are the contraindications?+
Pregnancy and breastfeeding, skin infection, a cold sore outbreak, active inflammatory acne, an unstable autoimmune condition, a known allergy to any component.
