The treatment
What is
Cellbooster?
Cellbooster is a range of injectable complexes developed by Suisselle, a Swiss company. Each 3 ml vial combines non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, dosed at 18 mg, with amino acids, vitamins and trace elements. It is not a filler: nothing is placed to create volume.
What sets it apart is the patented CHAC technology. It stabilises the mixture and releases the actives gradually over about fourteen days, where a conventional mesotherapy disperses within twenty-four hours. The four complexes are Class III CE-marked medical devices.
Each formula answers a different indication.
Cellbooster Glow targets the radiance of the complexion. Its glutathione, cysteine and vitamin C content reduces hyperpigmentation and counters oxidative stress. It suits dull, dehydrated or sun-damaged skin.
Cellbooster Shape is the only one in the range to contain L-carnitine. It is designed to reduce localised fat deposits, water retention and puffiness by improving microcirculation. Its usual areas are the double chin, under-eye bags and cellulite, on the face as well as the body.
Cellbooster Lift is for skin losing its firmness. Its amino acids and its B2, C and E vitamins stimulate collagen production and improve cell nutrition. The stated indications are dry skin, laxity, lack of elasticity and smoker's lines.
Cellbooster Hair is intended for the scalp. It adds copper, zinc, biotin and B-group vitamins to the complex. It strengthens the follicles, improves microcirculation and restructures the hair fibre. It is also used ahead of a hair transplant.
The protocol calls for three sessions two weeks apart for Glow, Shape and Lift, and six sessions two to three weeks apart for Hair, followed by maintenance.
At the Petit-Lancy clinic, the formula is chosen at consultation, after examining your skin or scalp. Hair loss deserves an assessment before any treatment: it can stem from a deficiency, a hormonal problem or stress, and a local treatment will not be enough if the cause has not been identified.

How it works
The treatment
process.
Initial Consultation & Pre-Treatment Care for Skin or Hair
Prior to the procedure, avoid alcohol, aspirin, and anti-inflammatory medications for 48 hours to minimize the risk of bruising. During your initial medical evaluation, inform your physician of any pregnancy, breastfeeding, autoimmune condition, or known allergies. Arrive without makeup, or with clean, unstyled hair for the Cellbooster Hair formulation. Treatment will be rescheduled in the presence of an active skin infection, herpes outbreak, or inflammatory acne. It is advisable to avoid scheduling important engagements immediately following the session.
Treatment Administration & Targeted Micro-Injections
Following sterile skin disinfection, the physician performs numerous superficial micro-injections evenly distributed across the target area, occasionally using a mechanical injector. You will experience brief pinprick sensations. For scalp treatments (Cellbooster Hair), injection points precisely target areas of thinning hair. Mild localized erythema (redness) during the procedure represents a normal physiological response. No dressing is required, allowing you to leave the clinic immediately.
Post-Procedure Care, Recovery Guidelines & Follow-Up
Redness, small temporary bumps, and local sensitivity usually persist for a few hours, rarely exceeding one night. Avoid massaging the treated area and refrain from applying makeup for 12 hours. For the Hair formula, do not wash your hair for 12 hours post-treatment. It is recommended to avoid saunas, steam rooms, direct sun exposure, and extreme cold for two weeks, as well as strenuous exercise for 48 hours. The next session is scheduled two weeks later (two to three weeks for the Hair protocol).
