The treatment

What is
PRX-T33 & PRX-PLUS?

PRX-T33 and PRX-PLUS are two professional WiQo treatments applied topically without injections. They belong to the same family of biorevitalisation protocols, but their formulations and positioning are different.

PRX-T33 contains 33% trichloroacetic acid (TCA), hydrogen peroxide and kojic acid. It is used to stimulate the skin's natural regenerative process without causing the frosting typically associated with a conventional TCA peel. Depending on skin assessment, it may be proposed to improve dull-looking skin, texture, certain signs of photoageing and some pigmentation irregularities.

PRX-PLUS is a different generation within the WiQo range. Its formulation includes homocysteic acid, ammonium trichloroacetate (ATCA), citric acid and phytic acid. It is positioned more toward mature or photodamaged skin and aims to visibly improve firmness, texture, evenness of tone and the appearance of pores or pigmented areas.

Both treatments are applied using a specific technique and involve no needles. Significant visible peeling is not expected, although temporary redness, dryness or mild flaking may sometimes occur. The choice between PRX-T33 and PRX-PLUS depends on the condition of the skin and the treatment objective.

How it works

The treatment
process.

01
Before

Prior consultation

Before treatment, the skin is assessed to select PRX-T33 or PRX-PLUS. Report pregnancy or breastfeeding, known allergy to ingredients, active cold sores, irritation, dermatitis, wounds or other skin lesions. Any irritating skincare products that need to be stopped beforehand are specified individually.

02
During

Application of the treatment

The skin is cleansed and the selected product — PRX-T33 or PRX-PLUS — is applied using the professional WiQo technique with controlled passes and massage. There are no injections. The protocol and number of applications are adapted to the skin and treatment objective.

Frequently asked questions

What you'd like
to know before your session.

What is the difference between PRX-T33 and PRX-PLUS?+
Both are professional WiQo protocols applied without needles, but their formulations differ. PRX-T33 contains 33% TCA, hydrogen peroxide and kojic acid. PRX-PLUS includes homocysteic acid, ammonium trichloroacetate (ATCA), citric acid and phytic acid.
How do I choose between them?+
PRX-T33 is a biorevitalisation option for selected concerns involving texture, radiance, photoageing or pigmentation. PRX-PLUS is positioned more toward mature or photodamaged skin, particularly when firmness, texture, visible pores or uneven tone are key concerns. Selection follows skin assessment.
Is this a conventional peel?+
Not exactly. These professional topical protocols are designed to stimulate the skin without the frosting and significant peeling typically associated with some conventional chemical peels.
Will my skin peel?+
Significant visible peeling is generally not expected. Dryness or mild flaking may nevertheless occur in some people.
Are needles used?+
No. Both treatments are applied directly to the skin using a specific massage technique.
Can they be performed in summer?+
WiQo states that these protocols can be used throughout the year. Appropriate photoprotection remains advisable, particularly for pigmentation concerns.
How many sessions are needed?+
The number and spacing of sessions are adapted to the skin, indication and selected protocol. A course may be recommended, but results and the number of sessions required vary between individuals.
What side effects may occur?+
Temporary redness, tightness, dryness, warmth or mild flaking may occur. Any significant or persistent reaction should be reported to the clinic.
