Thread Lift?
A thread lift is a minimally invasive treatment designed to gently tighten sagging areas of the face. Fine, absorbable threads are inserted beneath the skin to lift and support the tissue. This can create greater definition in areas such as the cheeks, jawline and lower facial contours.
As the threads gradually dissolve, they may also stimulate the body’s natural collagen production and support skin structure. The result is usually subtle and natural looking. A thread lift is particularly suitable for mild to moderate skin laxity but does not replace a surgical facelift.

Before the treatment
During a personal consultation, we will assess your skin condition, facial contours and desired result. We will determine whether a thread lift is suitable for you or whether another treatment may provide better results. Please inform us about any existing medical conditions, allergies and medications. Blood thinning medication should only be adjusted after consultation with your physician.
During the treatment
The treatment area is cleaned, disinfected and carefully marked. A local anaesthetic is then administered. The absorbable threads are inserted beneath the skin through small entry points and positioned along the previously determined lifting directions. This gently lifts the tissue and shapes the desired facial contour. The treatment takes approximately 40 minutes.
After the treatment
After a thread lift, mild swelling, bruising, tightness or slight skin irregularities may occur. During the first few days, pressure, rubbing and massages in the treated area should be avoided. Sleeping on your back and using gentle facial care can support the healing process. Intense exercise, excessive facial movements and further facial treatments should be avoided according to your individual medical advice.
