What is
SEFFIHAIR for Hair Loss?

SEFFIHAIR is a regenerative treatment for hair loss that uses processed fat tissue from the patient’s own body. A small amount of fat is removed, gently processed and then precisely injected into the scalp. The regenerative cells and growth factors it contains are intended to support the environment of existing hair roots and improve hair density.

The treatment is particularly suitable for early or progressive hereditary hair loss. It can also complement a hair transplant. However, SEFFIHAIR is not a substitute for hair transplantation and does not create new hair follicles. Results vary between individuals and cannot be guaranteed.

Before the treatment

Before SEFFIHAIR treatment, you will have a personal consultation and a thorough examination of your scalp and hair loss. Possible causes, existing medical conditions, previous treatments and current medications will be discussed. We will then assess whether sufficient active hair follicles remain and identify a suitable area of the body from which to remove a small amount of fat tissue.

During

During the treatment

After local anaesthesia, a small amount of fat tissue is removed through a fine cannula, for example from the abdomen or hip. The tissue is then gently processed. The resulting cell rich solution is evenly injected into the treatment areas of the scalp using fine needles. The outpatient procedure takes approximately 30 to 90 minutes.

After

After the treatment

After the treatment, the scalp and the area where the fat was removed may temporarily be red, swollen or tender. Small bruises may also occur. The treated areas should be cared for according to your physician’s instructions and should not be rubbed vigorously during the first few days. Exercise, sauna, swimming and intense sun exposure should be avoided for approximately one week.
