PRP Therapy?

PRP treatment uses the body’s natural regenerative abilities. A small amount of blood is collected and processed to produce platelet rich plasma containing concentrated growth factors. This plasma is then carefully injected into the skin or scalp.

PRP can support skin renewal, improve skin quality and create a fresher, more revitalised appearance. When applied to the scalp, the treatment can support weakened hair growth and strengthen the hair structure. As PRP uses only components obtained from your own body, it is a particularly natural method of aesthetic medicine.

Before

Before the treatment

Before your PRP treatment, you will have a personal consultation. We will discuss your treatment goals, the condition of your skin or scalp, any existing medical conditions and medications. Blood thinning medication should only be adjusted after consultation with your physician. On the day of treatment, you should drink plenty of water and avoid alcohol if possible.

During

During the treatment

First, a small amount of blood is taken and processed in a centrifuge. This separates the platelet rich plasma containing concentrated growth factors. The PRP is then precisely injected into the selected areas of the skin or scalp using fine needles. Depending on the treatment area, the procedure takes around 30 to 60 minutes.

After

After the treatment

After PRP treatment, mild redness, swelling or tenderness may occur temporarily. Most everyday activities can be resumed immediately. Exercise, sauna visits and intense sweating should be avoided for 24 to 48 hours. The treated areas should not be rubbed and must be protected from intense sun exposure.
