What is
Microneedling Pen?

Microneedling with an electrically controlled pen is a minimally invasive treatment designed to improve skin texture. Fine needles create controlled microchannels in the skin, stimulating its natural regeneration processes and the production of collagen and elastin.

The treatment can improve the appearance of fine lines, enlarged pores, uneven skin texture and superficial acne scars. Unlike radiofrequency microneedling, no heat energy is used. The needle depth is individually adjusted to the treatment area and desired results.

Before the treatment

Before microneedling, your skin will be carefully assessed and the appropriate treatment intensity selected. Please inform us about any skin conditions, allergies, medications and previous aesthetic treatments. Intense sun exposure should be avoided beforehand. Retinoids, acids and other irritating active ingredients should only be paused following individual consultation. On the day of treatment, your skin should be healthy and free from make up.

During

During the treatment

First, the skin is thoroughly cleansed and disinfected. The microneedling pen, fitted with a sterile single use tip, is then guided evenly across the treatment area. The fine needles create controlled microchannels, with the needle depth adjusted to each area of the skin. Depending on the treatment intensity, a numbing cream may be applied beforehand. Finally, soothing skincare products are applied.

After

After the treatment

After microneedling, the skin may initially appear red and feel similar to sunburn. Use gentle skincare products and apply a high level of sun protection every day. Temporarily avoid make up, exfoliants, retinoids, acids and heavily fragranced products. Direct sun exposure, exercise, saunas and swimming should be avoided until the skin has settled. Do not remove any flaking skin.
