Direct Brow Lift?
A direct brow lift is a surgical procedure used to correct drooping eyebrows. A narrow strip of skin is removed directly above the eyebrow, allowing the brow to be lifted precisely. This gives the eye area a more open, refreshed and less tired appearance. In cases of significantly drooping eyebrows, the procedure may also improve a restricted field of vision.
The procedure is usually performed under local anaesthesia. The fine scar is positioned directly along the upper edge of the eyebrow and usually becomes less noticeable over time.

Before the treatment
Before a direct brow lift, you will have a personal consultation and a thorough examination of the eye area. We will assess the position of your eyebrows, the condition of your skin and your individual expectations. Please inform us of any existing medical conditions and all medications you are taking. Blood thinning medication should only be adjusted after consultation with your physician.
During the treatment
Before the procedure, the desired position of the eyebrows is carefully marked. A direct brow lift is usually performed under local anaesthesia. A narrow strip of skin is removed directly above the eyebrow. The brow is then lifted to the desired position and the tissue is carefully sutured. The incision follows the natural contour of the eyebrow to ensure that the resulting scar is as discreet as possible.
After the treatment
After a direct brow lift, temporary swelling, bruising or a feeling of tightness may occur. Regular cooling and sleeping with your head elevated can support the healing process. During the first few weeks, physical exertion, rubbing the eye area and direct sun exposure should be avoided. The sutures will be removed during a follow up appointment. The final result will become visible once the area has fully healed.
