What is
Cryolipolysis: Body Contouring with Cold?

Cryolipolysis is a non invasive treatment designed to target localised fat deposits. A specialised applicator cools the fatty tissue in a controlled manner. Over the following weeks, the treated fat cells are gradually broken down by the body, helping to create more harmonious body contours.

At ono estetika, we use the Clatuu™ Alpha System with uniform 360 degree cooling technology. The treatment is suitable for smaller fat deposits on areas such as the abdomen, hips, upper arms and thighs. Cryolipolysis is designed for body contouring and is not a weight loss treatment.

Before the treatment

Before cryolipolysis, a personal consultation will take place to determine whether the treatment is suitable for you. Please inform us about any medical conditions, medications, sensitivity to cold or a possible groin or abdominal wall hernia. The treatment areas are then selected, marked, measured and photographed for future progress assessments.

During

During the treatment

A protective pad is placed on the skin and the appropriate applicator is positioned over the treatment area. A vacuum gently draws the fatty tissue into the applicator, where it is cooled in a controlled manner for approximately 45 to 65 minutes. Initially, you may experience an intense sensation of cold and mild pulling, which usually subsides quickly. The entire treatment takes around 90 minutes and does not require anaesthesia.

After

After the treatment

After cryolipolysis, temporary redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness or numbness may occur. These reactions usually resolve on their own. Most everyday activities can be resumed immediately, while intense exercise should be avoided for two to three days. At a later follow up appointment, the changes will be assessed and further treatments planned if required.
