Laser Hair Removal?
Laser hair removal is a gentle method for the long lasting reduction of unwanted facial and body hair. The laser light is absorbed by the pigment in the hair and directed towards the hair root. The resulting heat damages the hair follicle and can significantly reduce further hair growth while largely preserving the surrounding skin.
At ono estetika, the Clarity II system combines Alexandrite and Nd:YAG laser technology. This allows different skin types and numerous areas of the body to be treated individually, including the face, underarms, intimate area, legs, arms, chest, abdomen and back.

Before the treatment
Before laser hair removal, your skin type, hair structure and treatment area will be assessed. The hair should not be plucked, waxed or epilated for several weeks before your appointment. Shaving is still possible and should ideally be done one to two days before the session. Intense sun exposure, sunbeds and self tanning products should be avoided before treatment. Please also inform us about any medical conditions and medications you are taking.
During the treatment
At the beginning of the treatment, the area is cleansed and the individual laser settings are selected. You and the treating specialist will wear protective eyewear throughout the session. The laser is then guided evenly across the skin. You may experience a brief sensation of warmth or mild stinging. The integrated skin cooling system improves comfort and protects the skin’s surface.
After the treatment
After laser hair removal, mild redness, warmth or small areas of swelling around the hair follicles may occur temporarily. The skin should be treated gently and protected from irritation. Avoid exercise, saunas, hot baths and heavily fragranced skincare products for approximately 24 hours. The treated areas should be consistently protected from the sun with a high sun protection factor.
