What is
Carbon Laser Peel?

The Carbon Laser Peel, also known as the Hollywood Peel, combines a specialised carbon mask with a gentle laser treatment. The carbon particles bind to sebum, dead skin cells and surface impurities. The subsequent laser pulses carefully remove these particles and deeply cleanse the skin.

The treatment can improve the appearance of enlarged pores, a dull complexion, blemishes and uneven pigmentation. Afterwards, the skin often looks smoother, fresher and more even, with generally minimal recovery time.

Before the Carbon Laser Peel, your skin will be assessed and the desired results discussed. Please inform us about any skin conditions, medications, previous laser treatments and a possible tendency towards changes in pigmentation. Direct sun exposure and sunbeds should be avoided before your appointment. On the day of treatment, your skin should be healthy, clean and, if possible, free from make up.

During the treatment

First, the skin is thoroughly cleansed and a thin layer of carbon lotion is applied to the treatment area. After a brief application time, the skin is treated with targeted laser pulses. The carbon particles are removed together with the sebum and dead skin cells bound to them. You will wear suitable protective eyewear throughout the treatment. Finally, soothing skincare products are applied.

After the treatment

After the Carbon Laser Peel, the skin should be gently cleansed and treated with soothing skincare products. Apply a high level of sun protection every day and temporarily avoid direct sun exposure, intense heat and strenuous exercise that causes heavy sweating. Avoid exfoliants, retinoids, acids and other irritating active ingredients until the skin has fully settled.
