What is
der P-Shot?
The P Shot is a minimally invasive treatment for men in which the patient’s own platelet rich plasma, or PRP, is injected into selected areas of the penis. The plasma is obtained from a blood sample and contains concentrated platelets intended to support the tissue’s natural regeneration processes. The aim of the treatment is to potentially improve erectile function and tissue quality.
As erectile difficulties can have a variety of physical or psychological causes, a thorough medical assessment is important before treatment. Results vary between individuals and cannot be guaranteed.

Before the treatment
During a personal consultation, your symptoms, expectations, pre existing conditions and medications will be discussed. Erectile difficulties should be medically assessed, as they may have hormonal, psychological, neurological or cardiovascular causes. In particular, please inform your physician about blood thinning medication and any blood clotting disorders. Medication should only be adjusted after consultation with your physician.
During the treatment
First, a small amount of blood is drawn and processed in a centrifuge. This separates the platelet rich plasma from the other blood components. After the treatment area has been disinfected and locally anaesthetised, the PRP is precisely injected using fine needles. The entire outpatient treatment takes approximately 30 minutes.
After the treatment
After the P Shot, mild redness, swelling, tenderness or small bruises may occur temporarily. Most everyday activities can usually be resumed on the same day. Exercise, strenuous physical activity and sexual activity should be avoided for approximately two days. Please contact the clinic if you experience increasing pain, severe swelling, fever or signs of infection.
