Botulinum Toxin Treatments?

Botulinum toxin is precisely injected into selected muscles to temporarily reduce their activity. This can visibly soften expression lines such as frown lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet. The skin appears smoother and the facial expression more relaxed, while preserving natural facial movement.

Botulinum toxin can also be used to treat concerns such as excessive sweating or overactive jaw muscles. The treatment is tailored to your facial anatomy, muscle activity and desired result. The effects develop gradually and usually last for several months.

Before

Before the treatment

Before treatment, you will have a personal consultation. We will assess your expectations, facial anatomy and muscle activity. Please inform us about any existing medical conditions, allergies and all medications you are taking. Together, we will determine the appropriate treatment areas and discuss possible risks.

During

During the treatment

The desired treatment areas are carefully examined, marked and cleansed. A personalised dose of botulinum toxin is then precisely injected into the relevant muscles using a very fine needle. The treatment usually takes around fifteen to thirty minutes and is generally well tolerated.

After

After the treatment

After treatment, mild redness, slight swelling or bruising may occur. These effects usually subside quickly. The treated areas should not be massaged or subjected to strong pressure on the same day. Initial changes become visible after a few days, with the full result appearing after around ten to fourteen days.
